Aarambh serial to go off air in September

Star Plus Aarambh to end in less than three months

Star Plus magnum opus Aarambh Kahani Devsena Ki, which launched in June amid huge fanfare, is all set to wrap up on September 10.

The show directed by Goldie Behl failed to catch the attention of the audience despite its grandeur and high budget.

The show introduced several twists and turn and even leaps but this couldn’t fetch it the required TRPs. It was originally supposed to air 32 episodes but will now end its journey with 24 episodes. The channel has finally decided to pull it off air.

The show had a stellar star cast including Rajniesh Duggal, Karthika Nair, veteran actress Tanuja and Madhoo.

Talking about the show coming to an end soon, lead actor Rajniesh Duggall shared, “Yes, the show is ending. The makers have reduced the 32-episode series to just 24. It was a grand idea, but unfortunately, we didn’t get the numbers that we expected. However, I loved being a part of it. Both Varun Dev and Jal Dev (his characters in the show) will be close to my heart.”

According to media reports, Akshay Kumar’s ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ might replace Aaarmbh.
