Baahubali The Conclusion is now the highest grossing film of Indian cinema ever
It seems like there is nothing that can stop Prabhas and Rana Daggubati‘s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.
After breaking 30 plus records in just five days, the movie has now beaten the lifetime collection of Baahubali: The Beginning and Aamir Khan‘s Dangal.
According to latest reports, Bahubali 2 is now the highest grossing Indian film ever. The Film has broken the record in just five days.
Its prequel Baahubali The Beginning had collected Rs 420 crore at the box office in its lifetime run, while Dangal had raked in Rs 387.39 crore. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, on the other hand, has earned Rs 440 crore in just five days.
As trade analyst and industry tracker, Ramesh Bala tweeted, “#Baahubali2 with it’s 5-day All-India NBOC of Rs 440 crore has beaten #Baahubali – I’s Rs 420 Crore/ #Dangal’s Rs 387.39 crore to emerge All-Time No.1!”
In his next tweet, he even revealed the top five highest grossing films ever, when he wrote, “Top 5 NBOC India: 1. #Baahubali2 – Rs 440 crore, 2. #Baahubali – Rs 420 crore, 3. #Dangal – Rs 387 crore, 4. #PK – Rs 339 crore, 5. #BajrangiBhaijaan – Rs 320 crore.”
Bahubali 2 can not only become the first film to earn Rs 500 crore and Rs 600 crore at the domestic box office, but it can also be the first one to form the Rs 700 crore club. However, its performance over the second weekend will determine how much money will SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus earn in its lifetime run.
