Life OK’s new show Ghulaam has manged to grab the attention of it viewers with its story based on debauchery and women suppression along with powerful performances from its star cast
Ghulam serial story revolves around Berahampur, a village near the Haryana-Delhi border, where women are treated as mere commodities.
The lead actor of the show Param Singh aka Rangeela had to slap his co-star Niti Taylor aka Shivani for a scene and he was totally against it. He was taken aback when he got to know about this.
“Personally, I respect women and I am against them being treated badly. Women are supposed to be loved and shouldn’t be treated in an ill manner. When I was told that I have to slap Niti for a sequence, I was taken aback,” Param said in a statement.
The actor added that when he created a fuss about shooting for the scene, the director of the show explained a way to cheat shoot the sequence without having to actually slap Niti.
“This news gave me relief,” he added.
Prior to Ghulaam, Param shot to fame with his role as Randhir Singh Shekhawat in Channel V’s Sadda Haq while his co-star Niti Taylor became a popular name with MTV’s Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan.
