Kannada actor Dhruv Sharma died at a private hospital in Bengaluru due to multiple-organ failures
Kannada actor Dhruv Sharma passed away on Tuesday morning at a private hospital in Bengaluru due to multiple-organ failures.
The 35-year-old actor was speech and hearing impaired but never let it come in the way of his life or career. He is survived by his parents, wife and two daughters.
Apparently, Dhruv collapsed in his house on Saturday and was immediately taken to the hospital. It is still not clear what caused him to collapse on Saturday at his house. He was later rushed to Columbia Asia Hospital for medical help, where he breathed his last on the wee hours of Tuesday.
Dhruv shot to fame after he displayed his terrific batting skills during the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL). He was a star player of Karnataka Bulldozers, who won the championship twice under the captaincy of actor Kichcha Sudeep.
The Kannada actor is known for his films such as Snehanjali, Bangalore 560023, Ninandre Ishta Kano, Tippajji Circle and The Hit List.
The film fraternity mourned his death. From Riteish Deshmukh to Priyamani, celebrities were shocked and saddened by the actor’s sudden demise. Members of the CCL team including Sudeep rushed to the hospital to pay their last respects.
