Colors’ upcoming show Belan Wali Bahu (Shoonya Productions) will be a shift from the regular saas-bahu dramas and will be a horror comedy.

According to latest reports, beautiful and talented TV actress Krystle Dsouza will be seen playing the titular role in Belanwali Bahu. She was last seen in Zee TV’s Brahmarakshas Jaag Utha Shaitan.

Krystle rose to fame with Star Plus’ Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hain co-starring Nia Sharma, Karan Tacker and Kushal Tandon.

As of now, she has been off the TV screens and only recently she launched her own app.

Earlier, Hina Khan (Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai) was in talks for being the female lead of the new show, however, she chose to do the upcoming season of Khatron Ke Khiladi on Colors.

In addition to that, the producer of the show, Dheeraj Sarna will be making a comeback to acting after almost a decade. According to the news, he will be playing the lead’s i.e. Krystle’s husband in Belanwali Bahu.

Dheeraj Sarna is a writer and actor, known for Kutumb (2000), Chhanchhan (2013) and Kis Kisko Pyaar Karu.
