About Shrits ama Mukherjee – Koyal of Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan real name

Shritama Mukherjee (born 3 November 1993 in Kota, Rajasthan) is an Indian television actress. She is best known for her portrayal of Rajkumari Jainandini and Vinita ‘Vinnie’ Maheshwari.

She did her schooling from Sophia in Kota Jn. She used to participate in various cultural programs at school times especially dance. She was good at academics too. She continued her studies till 10th standard, then left her studies for her career in modelling and eventully she got a big break in television.

The journey from Kota (Rajasthan) to Mumbai for this classical singer started with the participation in reality show Antaakshari after which, she started making her own contacts. For one year she was doing up-down from Rajasthan just to give few auditions. Antakshari – The Great Challenge set her on the pathway to success.

Shritama made her debut with Sony Entertainment Television India’s serial Dekha Ek Khwaab in 2011, where she played the role of Rajkumari Jainandini. In the serial she played a grey shaded character who finds it hard to accept her sister, Manyata (played by Priyal Gor), who was lost in childhood and thus always tries to create difficulties for her. At the end she finally realises her faults and turns into a good person and sister.

Later, she was seen in Channel V’s Best Friends Forever where she essayed the role of Vinnie and gained popularity.

Vinnie is insecure and has issues with parents. She belongs to a conservative family, where the son is the apple of the eye — so she acts out against her mom. She tries to rebel against norms. She is one of the BFFs . She loves being with her friends Sanju and Ela . But a dark secret will change their relationship with each other forever.

She was last seen essaying role of Sakshi, lead actress Devika’s (Aparna Dixit) sister in Life OK’s Kalash – Ek Vishwas.

She made her film debut with Soombe, a Tulu film directed by Saikrishna Kudla released on 13 March 2015 all around Tulunadu.

Soon, she will be seen in a lead role as Koyal in Star Plus upcoming serial, a love story Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan  (KTHTMD) opposite Gauatm Gupta and Vibhav Roy. The story will revolve around three families – a South Indian Family, a Punjabi Family and a Bengali family and Shritama will be seen as the Bengali girl.
