Rashmi Sharma Telefilms hit show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Colors channel seems to be loved by the audiences. It has crossed another milestone by completing 2000 episodes today 05th DEcember 2017.
The show premiered on 25 April 2011 and has been entertaining the audience from the past six and a half years.
The series first starred Dipika Kakar, Shoaib Ibrahim, Avika Gor, Manish Raisinghan as Simar, Prem, Roli and Siddhant, respectively in main leads. The show took many leap with introduction of new actors in the star cast. Actors Vaishali Takkar and Varun Sharma entered the show as Anjali and Piyush, respectively. In March 2017, both Dipika and Dheeraj quit the show for being a typecast and moving on to better projects. In same month, Keerti Gaekwad Kelkar replaced Dipika in the role of Simar. Later, actress Krissann Barretto entered the show as Sanjana and actor Mazher Sayed enter the show in the role of Prem. Also, Yeh Rishta Kya Kya Kehlata Hai fame Rohan Mehra joined the cast in the lead role as Sameer.
The show holds a significant place in the heart of the cast as it has helped them grow in many spheres of their career.

Krissan Barreto aka Sanjana shared “I have learnt a bunch of great things, during my journey on SSK and I feel honoured to be a part of the show that has reached such a milestone.
